Wow... a second EP. It's hard to believe, that's for sure.

What's even more surreal is knowing that this marks the end of an era for me.

I've hung on to pain and anger for far too long, and for me, this album symbolizes letting go of that part of my life. I've spent far too long trashing my exes forgetting that they are real people. Real people that I cared about very much. People who had an impact on my life.

So I'm giving my exes a super awesome sendoff. We had some good times, and some awesome songs came out of it. I thank them for that. The last song on this album, Bluejay gives rebirth and a sneak preview of songs to come in the future. One where I am thankful for good times and acknowledging how I feel without placing blame.

This was definitely an interesting project though. I revisited a lot of older material of mine, including the first song I ever uploaded to YouTube. What was most interesting was looking at how much I've grown since many of these songs were written. It truly does feel like a lifetime ago.

It is with intention that I leave these songs a little messy, vulnerable and imperfect. Because in the end, isn't that what even the best relationships are?
